This one has been a while coming. I wish I had a good excuse for why I’ve been away for so long, but to be perfectly honest, I just haven’t been feeling motivated for much lately.
If you were to ask someone whether they like spam, chances are they’d say no. They’d probably make a face too. I’ll admit, I was one of those people. I mean, it’s a slimy block of meat coming out of a can.
But when you think about it, it’s not so different from a hot dog except for the packaging and it actually tastes pretty similar to a hot dog too. Just don’t look at the sodium content…
My brain is sea of thoughts that never stops. A jumble of emotions and ideas. A mishmash of memories and inklings. Organized thoughts are impossible, that’s what lists are for. I write and erase and rewrite so that these posts are at least coherent, if not eloquent. Some days it takes longer than others.
I bought a pineapple the other day. A whole pineapple. This is something I rarely do because disassembling a whole pineapple is a daunting task that leaves me sticky all over with a puddle of pineapple juice on the counter. And I always feel like I’m wasting half of it trying to get rid of those little sharp bits. But I bought one because they look so cool, with their yellow-green colour and tuft of leaves on top.
