Snack Attack: Pumpkin Seed Bread With Apple Butter

Oh hi!  Welcome to the first post of a new segment I’m starting called Snack Attack.  These will be simple recipes, sometimes hardly even recipes, for quick snack/meal/dessert ideas.  When you get back from work and you need a little something before dinner is on the table.  If you’re craving dessert but don’t want to whip out the stand mixer and all your bowls.  If you need a fast, on-the-go lunch.

Enter toasted pumpkin seed bread with apple butter.  Such an amazing fall snack.  Almost tastes like you’re eating apple pie.  The bread is toasty and nutty.  The apple butter is sweet and spicy.  Together they make magic.

I didn’t make my own apple butter.  If I did, this wouldn’t be that fast.  But I fully support you if you feel the need to make your own.  You can send me a jar so I can make more of these toasts.

I chose pumpkin seed bread because it felt very fall.  You know what I mean, right?  But you can use any seedy bread that you like.
